MTV's VMA fashion!

The VMA's (Video Music Awards) are all about fierce, experimental glamor. Yesterday's show had exactly this! Here are the "Give it to me!!" and the "Take that away from me's!" from last night...

I love grecian goddess styles on pregnant women! Beyonce Knowles looked radiant in a long, orange Lanvin gown. Her beautiful glow and minimal accessories kept the focus on her baby bump. Flawless!!!

I'm starting to drool looking at Kelly Rowland in the Falguni and Shane Peacock mini, studded Christian Louboutin pumps and minimal accessories. All that + her slamming body - FIERCE! Now, that's VMA fashion!!

Zoe Saldana rocked the red carpet in a plunging black and gold mini and snakeskin platform sandals. Chic and sexy! - loveeee!!! After a few too many fashion faux pas, this was refreshing!

Selena Gomez clearly loves to take advantage of her young blood and complement it with elegance. She looked gothic chic in the Julien Macdonald mullet dress.

Sure, I might sound hypocritical when I say that I LOVED Taylor Lautner's appearance at the VMA's. Gray jeans, white shirt, Black blazer and brown shoes. Honestly, I'm not sure why I love it but I do. Very much!

Okay, so what was Nicki Minaj thinking again??? C'mon girl! As big a fan I am of fierce fashion, there's a line between fierce and just weird that Lady Gaga crossed at the 2010 VMA's. Lets not go there again please?

While I do like Adele's Burberry dress, I thought it was too demure for an MTV show. Also, the big hair, the stockings and black shoes...aaah! NOT for the VMA's!!!

Britney Spears, wearing a black sequin Moschino romper with sheer overlay detail, a low-slung belt, and platform gold and black peep-toe boots was probably on her way to dinner but took a detour to the VMA's.

I DO like Justin Beiber's look. While the red pants, chains and black shirt were trendy  (very Kanye West at the 2010 VMA's), his pet snake and leopard sneakers looked so out of place!

Katie Holmes looked cute in her peach mid length dress with black lace overlay and thick waist band and tried to spice it up with her camel lace up booties but missed...very cute for a lunch date but replacing the shoes with these Louboutin demons might have done the trick.

Katy Perry, how in the world did you get Versace to make custom make this debacle for you?

Kim Kardashian! Yes, we agree that it is hard to dress curvy women without being monotonous and we do know that you love a tight dress but you must simply know when a gown isn't right?? (Especially when the silhouette and the designer do not work for you!)

Animal prints are clearly in at Roberto Cavalli. Clearly not on Miley Cyrus. Especially with the stiff bun, the dangly earrings and the choker. TOO TOO MUCH for a teenager! Soft wavy hair with light make up and no accessories (maybe nude pumps) would have left the focus on her dress.

Nicki Minaj in her own creation??? LOL

Love Zoe Saldana's outfit, its perfect balance of accessories, right shoe ("shoe again")...the outfit is the right length (and depth ;)) for her body!...Taylor looks yum, yum enough to eat!...its the a mix of smart, sexy and laid-back casual in his dressing that makes him look so yum...Gray jeans a casual color but the fitting of which is in vogue (reminds me of italian vogue in 2009) paired with rugged brown shoes. A simple white t-shirt with a V neck (just the right depth) paired with a smart jacket...yep thats a jackpot!
